Muscat Gadinada Utsava 2025 organized by Gadinada Sahithya Sanskrithika Academy jointly with the Karnataka Boarder Development Authority, Kannada Sahithya Parishath, in association with Oman Kannadiga’s held at Majan hights hall at ruwi, Sultanate of Oman. During the gadinada utsava achievers from various fields were recognized for their active engagement and contributions towards the social services and professional achievements in Sultanate of Oman over the years and contributed to the community at large. Gadinada Utsava was cultural program conceptualized by Vidhushi Smt.Theertha Kateel and her team and Smt.Reshma Hitesh and team to showcase Kannada - Community - Culture show with the motto "Sangha Jeevanave Sukha Jeevana (A life of togetherness is a happy life)" Oman Kannadiga’s are today a home away from home for Kannadigas in the Sultanate of Oman. Step into the corridors of the Utsava, the warmth is perceptible. The scent of sandalwood, the culture of Kannada permeates in every body’s heart here in the Utsava. This Utsava helps members and their family, especially the younger ones, stays in touch with the essence of our heritage, giving them a sense of belonging and a life of oneness in a foreign land. It helps keep the cultural flame alive within each of its members while contributing its mite to the Oman community.
While addressing the gatherings H.E.Shri.Basavaraj Horatti announced that he will recommend to Chief Minister of Karnataka for the sanction of special grant for the Kannada Bhavan in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman.
First time in Oman, Muscat Gadinada Ustava will be held on 18th April 2025 evening 4pm to 11.30pm showcasing various arts, culture, dance and heritage of Karnataka in Sultanate of Oman. The Utsava witnessed the diganatories and guests from various facets of life, Sri.Shashidhara Shetty mallar, Sri.S.K.Poojary, Dr.C.K.Anchan, Sri.Sunil Dsouza, Shri.Ganesh Shetty, Sri.Ramananda Shetty, Sri.Mahesh Purohit, Sri.Padmakar Mendan, Dr.Sanjeev Kumar Athivale, member, KBADA,GOK, Sri.Shiva Reddy, member, KBADA,GOK.
Sri.N.C.Shivaprakash and team conducted the poetry session was appreciated by the audience during the utsava.
During the utsava all kannada teachers who has been serving in oman and voluntarily taking kannada classes for the children of kannadigas were honoured by H.E.Shri.Basavaraja Horatti.
CA Ramananda Prabhu expressed his gratitude to His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tariq Al Said for the benevolence and peace and prosperity and friendly people of oman, people of india and all government officials and all who had contributed directly or indirectly in achieving and contributing in this life journey in Sultanate of Oman.
Mr.Akshay M and Smt.Swetha compered the program and Sri.Z.A.Kayya proposed the vote of thanks during the Utsava.
N Ramananda Prabhu CA, son of Late N Pundalika Prabhu, hails from farmer’s family, Prabhu Keri, Naikanakatte, Byndoor Tq, he did his schoolings at Government Higher Primary School Naikanakatte, and did his high schooling at Khambadakone, Pre-University at Government Pre-University College, Uppunda and did his graduation B Com from Government First Grade College byndoor in the year 1990. He then moved to Bangalore to do his Chartered Accountancy course and he widely worked all metros in india and done assignments in across the gulf countries and currently pursuing his professional CA practice in Sultanate of Oman.
He has been actively involved in various social service and been continuously supporting educational institutions in which he has studied and philanthropist and currently serving as technical advisor on the Omani CA Association, Oman Anti-Fraud Association and also on the panel of Oman India Investment Forum advising Indian business community to go global.
